On Friday, October 9th, approximately 20 employees from M&M Mars in Hackettstown came out to the Musky to help establish a new riparian restoration project complete with wire caging along nearly 500 yards of the river in Mansfield Twp. along route 57 north. A great big thank you to all involved! This work was completed on Saturday by a few TU volunteers and another nearly 1/3 mile of the river will now have cover against the sun’s heat, protection of the banks from runoff and ample roots to hold the river banks from sloughing into the river above the Penwell Dam.
