Come out to the Cliffdale Inn on the banks of the Musconetcong River, site of a recent preservation effort by our partners at Heritage Conservancy for a pig roast and fundraiser on Saturday, June 20, 2009. Time is 2pm – 8pm and families are most welcome! We are limiting tickets to 150 and it is first-come-first served. Reserve your tickets today. Prices are $35 for adults with children 12 and under free. We will have games for all ages and there is always fishing in the river on the property. Commemorative beer glasses are available for $10 with free refills or buy beer at $4/ea. We will have a keg of root beer for the kids and non-drinkers. The Cliffdale Inn is located at 1280, route 57 North in Mansfield Twp. (Port Murray section). This is the light blue former restaurant on the road and the pig roast will be held on the grounds behind the building. Come on out for a great cause, to support the conservation efforts like the Musconetcong Home Rivers Initiative and our education efforts like our 81 Trout In the Classroom tanks across the state!
We will have games for adults and kids including rubber ducky races. There will be a 50/50 raffle as well as a high end 5 weight rod and reel raffle. This event is “rain or shine”.
